Title: Small, Slim, Cheap and Lite Universal Remote

Item Resource Page: Generic-UniversalDigitalSLRRemote

Pros: - Cheap - less than $4
- Slim and light, especially compared to many OEM remotes
- Works with many different cameras and brands (so if you change brands, it can still be useful, unlike so many OEM accessories)
- With the different buttons you can technically use the remote to take pictures with different brands of camera at different times without having to worry about aiming out of range of the other cameras (an outlier case I know but it could happen...)
- Easy enough to find which button works with your camera (just be sure to have Remote mode activated first)

Cons: - No way to distinguish between buttons meant for different brands (so you can end up hitting the wrong button and wondering why nothing is happening if you are not paying attention)

Price Paid: $3.94 US

Overall Rating: 9/10

Other Info: Note that it requires a button cell type battery (CR 2025) so it is not conducive to using rechargeables in most cases - but with a unit so slim that isn't really to be expected.

I bought mine from Deal Extreme for $3.94 with free shipping.
